This course focuses exclusively on the issues related to shooting in Low-Light situations. Since the vast majority of armed exchanges occur at night, this is an essential course for anyone who regularly carries a firearm at night. Topics covered include physiology of the human eye and how it functions in low-light, flashlight techniques, weapons-mounted lights, use of night sights, reduced light search techniques, target identification and acquisition, low-light in indoor vs. outdoor environments and low-light specific tactics. Required equipment includes ear protection, clear eye protection, an appropriate firearm, a quality strong side holster, a minimum of two magazines or speedloaders, a sturdy belt, a side switch or tailcap switch white light flashlight and 150 rounds of target ammo. Recommended equipment includes a belt holster for your flashlight, extra batteries and 10 rounds of your normal carry ammo.
